NetWebTrends: How did you first get interested in Home Business?

Chad Schapiro: After graduating with 3 business degrees from a Big Ten University, My first career opportunity resulted in my being downsized after only 3 years. Having over $17,000 in debt on credit cards alone, and of course being unemployed, I was very open, and very interested in finding an alternative way to generate income. So, when I stumbled across a home business opportunity, I grabbed onto it right away. I quickly found it to be an amazing experience, both from a personal growth standpoint, as well as from a financial aspect.

NetWebTrends: How many years have you been building home businesses now?

Chad Schapiro: I have been consistently building home businesses now for over 10 years.

NetWebTrends: Wow, that’s an unusually long length of time, for a home business owner, most people quit long before that. What would you attribute your long-term staying power in the industry to?

Chad Schapiro: Just like any business, you have to think long-term. I think in my case, I was very fortunate to meet and be trained by multi-millionaires early on in my career. Working directly with some of the most successful home business builders of all time, helped me establish some great successes early in my career. Of course there have been difficult times along the way, but the ability to see both a short-term and long-term vision of where we are headed is priceless.

NetWebTrends: Let’s talk about OurGV.Com, it is very impressive, what led you to start your own company?

Chad Schapiro: The last 10 years of my life building successful home-based businesses has resulted in some of the most amazing experiences, as well as some of the biggest heart breaks of my life. The one thing we have seen, over the years, both myself as well as my partners, is a consistent lack of ethics, and long-term commitment to its people by the ownership of companies. So many times we have helped our own individual teams become tremendously successful, only to have the owners of the company literally forget what got everyone the success in the first place. Between myself, and my partners we have almost 40 years of successful experience building home-based businesses. We wanted to put together a company that had all of the good parts of the most successful home-based businesses in the world, all of the good parts of small business, franchising, and even the best of big business. Chad Schapiro: Well, the list is incredibly long, and we are constantly adding and updating content, but we of course teach the basics of recruiting, phone calls, how to use technology effectively, etc. Some of our advanced trainings even get into expert closing techniques, and how to effectively motivate, train, and build large sales organizations.

NetWebTrends: Okay, now for the fun stuff! We understand that you have owned some of the finest automobiles in the world today, BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus. What is your favorite that you have owned so far, and what is the car you most look forward to owning in the future?

Chad Schapiro: Lol, okay, yes the stories are true, in my “Youth” I thought it was important to own fancy cars, and I probably gained the most enjoyment from my BMW sports car. I must confess that I am just really not into the whole luxury, sport performance automobile thing anymore. When you look at the world today there are just so many problems that we need to be solving. I am much more excited about figuring out how we can donate more money to the world’s charities than I am about picking out my next luxury automobile.

NetWebTrends: Fair enough, since that seems to be your biggest passion, what is OurGV.Org?

Chad Schapiro: OurGV.Org is basically another sister company that was designed to focus on our support of the world’s charities. It’s where we evaluate charities for inclusion to our charity program, and do various things to help the PR and awareness for the best charities in the world today.
